I compress via apple compressor that lets you export 2.35:1.

Extension tubes are used for macro photography. To get closer.

So the apple compressor cuts away the top and bottom? Do you do it through the quicktime player?

EDIT: I just figured it out, very cool. Why haven't i've seen it before ? :)

No, i do it through compressor (application of final cut studio suite).
