300 style slomo - yes or no question.

Been playing around with super slomo - shooting at 60fps then supersampling, etc.

Bottom line is this - is there any way to get super clean slow motion without blur in Vegas a la 300 style? I mean like in the fight scenes where the action virtually stops then starts up again.

Yes or no question. If it isn't possible I won't try.

No it's not possible. Not like "300". They shot maybe 250 frames per second, you're working with 60 frames (or, if from an interlaced camera, 60 half-frames) per second.

You can try using something like Twixtor, but I've never gotten consistenly good results from that.

That's about what I thought. I'd love to get twixtor but am told it doesn't work with Vegas - is that right?

I'm pretty sure you have to use it with After Effects.
