Vegas 8 or Pro or Home Studio?

I'm confused. I just saw a post concerning Vegas Movie Studio 8 shipping. There are two versions listed on the Sony site, and both are listed under "Home Studio Solutions." Vegas 7 is still listed under Professional solutions. So is there going to be a Vegas 8 "Professional solution", or is Vegas going to turn into a more consumer/home video product?

I'm a 6 month Vegas 7 owner. Based on the way Sony brought out updates in the past will I be eligible for free upgrade to V8 or will they likely charge V7 owners for it?

I don't know yet. A bunch of HDV- and Sony-centric stuff, which doesn't interest me in the slightest, but there's talk of a new titler.

an improved titler would be nice - it's one of the few weak areas in Vegas, even my old Pinnacle Studio 9 can do fancier titling

A new titler is cool but if that's the only reason to upgrade, then I probably won't. I love Sony Vegas but they're gearing it toward all Sony products so that kinda sucks....
