View Full Version : HVX200 Noise!
I just got my new Hvx200 and am waiting for the 5 hour battery charger to charge. In the meantime I have been attaching all the accesories. In the process I notice that if i tilt the camera forward and back it sounds like something is moving inside the camera. It sounds like a soft plasic clunk. Is this normal? What could it be?
Thanks,
Tom

Hi Tom, don't worry...it's normal for it to do that.

It's normal and there are a bunch of posts on this.
Ok thats really good to hear. I am hoping the noise won't be picked up by and on camera mic. Do all the cameras make this noise?

The noise does not get picked up by the camera mic, because it stops when the camera is turned on. It is the image stabilizer.

It describes the "noise" or clunking in the users manual. If you haven't read it yet, i suggest you read it, you can learn a lot from it. (for newbies)
