I know there is the time stamp Video FX...but it looks so cheesy. I'm wondering if anyone has come across one that looks more like a stop watch instead of what is offered in Vegas 7.0

hmmm i dont know for sure but i think ive seem some external plugins that can do that. But if your looking for the visual style then thats easy. Choose the time code effect from vegas. Render a seperate video of needed duration with alpha i guess (uncompressed). Then import this video back into vegas and skew using pan and crop. Color adjust, glow etc. then overly this onto your footage. Or you can maybe do the color correction thing etc within your main project itself.
