View Full Version : Lightest Portable Personal Crane?

Hi i was hoping that you could tell me what you think about this idea i had...

I've never made a crane before so i dont know if this could really work out, but if it does i guess it will be a really good option for thoose not soo demanding jobs that you need to spice up a lil bit with a crane shot or maybe it will be a good option for a really portable crane generally speaking, i dont know...

Keep in mind that it uses really light materials, it is all balanced, it uses one of thoose little new HD camcorders like the Panasonic "AG-HSC1U" or a small DV camcorder, and that I'm probably just dreaming.


By the way do anyone know how upload a .jpg drawing of the crane?

You have to host the picture somewhere like photobucket.com, then you link it here with the little pic icon above.

Kessler Crane is a good place to start, although it cost a few bucks

I still think the cool-cam dv is a good one to model off of.. I don't know why, but Im fascinated with their demo footage.
