Hi all,

I posted this up on the MTB web-site I frequent a week or two ago, and thought I should post it up here, too.

Pretty basic stuff, 2mins long, just playing with things.

The slow-mos - I figure to make them look better I should
a) move the camera with the rider so that the background takes any bluring not the rider, and/or
b) Use a faster shutter speed

Generally, I think it would be better if I had a narrower DOF to place more focuss on the rider - what do you guys think?

Two versions to d/load, a 720p version weighing in at 190MB, or a 512x288 net version at a lightweight 29MB.

You'll have to go here (http://forums.farkin.net/showthread.php?p=1071448#post1071448), and then choose whichever version you want to download - the server has some crazy thing going on I don't understand and can't link them directly here. It's only one extra click though :-)

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Cheers,
Sam

i would say push the shutter to 1/1000 AND move the camera with the rider.
i would also say thats the worst song I've heard in a long time.

1/1000 ay? Cheers for that. Static shots are cool sometimes though - I'd like to be able to do without too much blur, so will test more.

As for the music, well, each to their own I 'spose. But really, who cares, it's a test vid.
