I'm looking for someone with a DVX interested in helping on a job in Texas in July -- on a sci-fi shoot. *Minimal to no money involved (except for some meals), but it could be a lot of fun, especially if you love the genre. *I'm going to be working with it, but I can't cover the the whole two-to-three week shoot, and for consistency's sake, it all needs to be shot on a DVX.
Otherwise, they're going with a GL2 or XL1s, and we can't have that!
If interested in tag-teaming with me, PM me.

I should note that a major studio is aware of this project and will be interested in the finished film.

what does little-no money mean?

Pretty much what it says. This is a no-budget project. Everyone on it is a volunteer, but I'm told that some expenses could be covered.

that's what I thought.. then you said major studio interest.. and minimal money can mean alot of different things to different people. So are you offering deferals then?

It's not my project, so I'm not offering anything. I'm just trying to get the shoot covered. The director wants to do it all on the DVX, but I won't be able to cover all of the shoot. I'm trying to round up someone to cover the rest.
If there's something of value to be gained by the studio interest, it's that they'll see it and your work will be credited.

Like I said, if you love the genre', it will be a lot of fun. (Prob'ly.) And a chance for exposure (unavoidable pun).

Where in Texas? And can you say JULY HOT! HOT! HOT! I used to live in texas. How long of a shoot? 8)
I'd definitely be interested in taking part, if I can fit it into my work schedule.
What city/cities and what kind of time commitment are you looking for?

Not great. This is pretty much a volunteer thing. Think of it as a labor of love.
