Hi!

I was the creator of the grotesque "Frankenbrevis" (http://cinevate.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=789).

This is a link to the film we made. Hopefully it looks better than the equipment we used. Hope you like it :)

NB: the video is actually larger than the embed player, so fullscreen mode is best.

NB: I posted the same in the cinevate forums. For techies we used the HVX, a Brevis35, Nikon primes and that's it I guess... Tons of lighting stuff that (in my opinion) didn't add very much.

See you around!

Wow.. That was one of the most interesting things I've seen in awhile!
Looked amazing, great color correction, sound was exceptional, acting was believable and funny, and last of all great script! The combination of all of those elements is very hard to achive.. CONGRATS! You should do well in your comp..

Are you the DP or the Director? You both did a great job! As for "tons of lighting stuff" it all looked GREAT, so whatever you used, was needed to achieve that look..

What was wrong with the equipment that you used?

Nice... Could you please post a 720P QT version to watch it in better quality ? It would be interesting to see how the Brevis handles the landscapes.

Thanks,

Kristin

Nice work Ursa. I really enjoyed your film. Quite original and kept me watching till the end.

Very subtle and clever use of sound.

I liked it a lot too. The post-apocalyptic problems were dealt with in an amusing fashion.

very pretty. nothing like an interesting landscape to spice up a cool story.

Wow I'm overwhelmed... Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I guess when you're filling too many roles yourself, all you can see is just the endless problems... But I'll try to use this as good as I can to open some doors.

I do not think an HD version has lots more to offer. You can already see several places that things get out of focus and the Brevis has soft edges through the most part... Actually, I think I will post one anyway... You never know when you need to showcase your HD stuff anyway :)
