Here is a parody on the the old Star Trek TV show's opening sequence: "Web Trek" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ol6_NKE8N8Y). It was a fun exercise in using the Sony Vegas 7's crop/pan controls and chroma key in the 000 black region.
The "Cyberspace" digital background animated images were accomplished by superimposing several 'text' video tracks using a black key. Motion was accomplished with the crop and pan feature. The introduction narrative audio I voiced myself and augmented using the editing system's reverb plug-in. The rest of the images, sound effects and music were 'obtained' from various websites.
The more I play with the Vegas 7 system, the more editing power and versitility I discover.
