Hey all, just shot this in about 20 min. this morning. It's a little promo piece for this item that they're selling at the fundraising company. Enjoy...

I liked it and thought it was interesting when the people entered the scene and showed a defferent perspective. Hey Brandon was the last (zoom in) near the end the only take or is it the tripod you were using that caused the slight wabble while centering?

I liked the lighting and the opening shots. I'm not sure what this was for exactly. But you do and that's enough. However, I think you could have accomplished the same feel in nearly half the time. I realize that you were probably trying to match the length of the music, but some of the shots were nearly exactly the same. Also, I don't think that you needed the context shot of the two actors collecting the snow in their hands and then the one where she throws it. Just use the one of her throwing it. I noticed that some of your pans an pushes aren't that smooth. I dont' know what kind of tripod you were working with. But I think you could probably do better even with a 501 head. And I'm not sure if I would have done the tilt in the second shot. I would have probably just left it a set shot. Finally, I think you could shorten your dissolves. Maybe it's just taste, but I'm not a fan of the trails left by those long dissolves. Heck, perhaps you could dump the dissolves all together and do a wipe across the screen with a snowflake or something.
I'm not trying to be hard or a jerk. I do like the footage. I'm just pointing out some places that, in my very humble opinion, you could improve the piece.
