Aram Bauman and I shot this last week. It is a band called The Blue Ribbons. Youtube but will post a better version soon.
I guess this could be posted anywhere here. It has HVX (720P) and DVX (SD) footage intecut. We used a Schoeps CMIT-5 and I was helped out in the audio section with figuring out how to record live music. (there is some goos stuff here to judge bc there is a stand up bass solos, guitar solos and a lot of piano)
HVX- handheld by Aram 720 24p
DVX - yours truly, on sticks SD 4:3 fixed in post.
This song builds and they start tearing the roof off the place about 6 minutes in.
Aram does some amazing work on this, especially the close up guitar solo and dutch angle. The most difficult part of shooting live is staying out of each others way and hopefully you both aren't setting up a shot at the same time. didnt' always succeed but all and all we had a really great time.
