P2/Remain screen is not accurate

My P2/Remain screen indicates that I have around 4 minutes of recording time left, however, it only lets me record around 3 seconds of video. Any ideas on this one?

Did you by chance, inadvertantly change the recording mode to interval recording or something? You can only record 3 seconds, or 3 seconds everytime you hit record?

I have only had the HVX a couple of days now, so I may have very well changed the setting without realizing it. I have some clips on the P2 card that I am unable to transfer right now, so the remaining space indicates 4 minutes, and every time I hit record it only allows 3 seconds.

Sounds like you have changed the record mode inadvertently. Turn on your camera, go to the menu. Choose option 5. Recording Setup.

Look at your options there. Check that Interval, or one shot modes are not on...
