This was really fun and a lot less time consuming than the usual fest.

There were 6 standouts in my viewing; I tried approaching this from the perspective of somone who would be looking for the winning ad for my campaign

Doug Spice - Bravo bravo bravo

My vote for winner.

Looked every bit of professional grade and a great concept; your choice of dutch on the wide shot sold me. Very nice.

Macgregor

Visually nice as always but the overall lack of concept left me bored. Another car commercial is what it felt like; but visually, mastery of image and enough to hold my attention.

Solomon Chase

Wow. I'm impressed. Had me from the get go. Awesome job. Felt like a small clip from a film; the lack of attention on the water bottle logo distracted me a bit.

Karl151k

Possibly the most creative one of them all. I loved it. Simple and effective . But left me without our love of visual communication and our cameras.

martin

Another solid professional grade effort. Felt like a Nike ad, looked stunning and had enough concpet to keep me hooked. I can't complain about anything.

Zoidoid

Really really had fun watching this. The concept, the invented product was real enough for me and still fun. Could have been my favorite of the bunch but the voice over that was lacking some impact. - A simple redo on that element would slam this one home for me.

Anyways, awesome. Inspiring. Everyone

Doug Spice is the winner in my mind; not a single element that left me distracted. Every single shot and frame sold me.

I go back and forth between Dougspice and Solomon.

Leaning toward Dougspice because the narrative and product were lost in a couple of key beats in the Soloman ad.

Maybe my third is Towerfan. It was kind of a parody of a commercial, but it was a real commercial that made an argument for a product and clearly defined what it did and why you would want it. If that product existed people would be calling in to buy it.

I'd say that this is by far my favorite DVXfest. It's such an easily digestible format (37 seconds per entry) and it permits multiple viewing of entries much easier than the 6 minute long films of yore. Great job with this everybody! I shall not reveal which entries I preferred over others, but I will say that every single entry gave me at least one "I wish I'd thought of that idea/shot" moment.
