I entered the contest. Had a blast shooting it driving across country with a buddy who was moving back to Boston.

Special thanks to Siniarch for DPing the LA part of the shoot. If you like it and belong to youtube, a comment would be much appreciated.

Shot on the HVX 720P, used the variable frame rates quite a bit to speed things up on occasion.

Any comments here would be appreciated as well. Thanks.

Thanks Luis, we had a bunch of stuff I couldn't use because the time limitation that was hopefully funny. I am glad you dug the line.

Matty, we shot the parked car part in LA near the In n Out burger in Hollywood. All the other stuff was shot on the road and in Boston. The boredom of the drive gave me a lot of footage to chose from because we shot every morning for 5 days LOL. Thanks for the comments

Somehow I ended up with a channel when I signed up for youtube, anyone know how to get rid of it.

Nice. When its that slow i use a knife!
Love the music, fits right in to that cross country feel. You could of probably used less blur on the logos so its not so distracting.

Learned the blur yesterday on FCP, I should have had you do as you offered. Music is The Blue Ribbons as you know. Any word on your concept?

Hey Jim,
Looks good!!!
what did you mean the Blue ribbons. (as in winning the competitions, or as in the name of a band?) Cus it has to be original music. But I'm sure you know that.

The Blue Ribbons is the name of the band. They are friends of mine and gave me permission to use their original song. Aram and I actually shot their live show last week and I'll post a song soon.

Thanks again for shooting the stuff in LA, we obviously shot a lot more then in the commercial. I have to get use to shooting with time limitations.
