HVX Firmware update Issue

HELP HELP HELP PLEASE. I just got my 16 Gb P2 card and I updated the firmware in the HVX to accept the card. After i upgraded, the card was recognized, BUT I cannot record SOUND in HD/P2 Card mode. What happenned ? I was very careful.

Please reply ASAP if you have any idea what's up. I have a 2 day shoot starting in 12 hrs.

Check to see if you're in 720pN mode. If so, be aware that sound is only recorded if you use the DEFAULT frame rate, or if you manually set your frame rate to match your recording mode (i.e., 720/30pN @ 30fps, or 720/24pN @ 24 fps).

Barry thanks for the ultra fast response. I had hoped someone would help, but to my surprise I got a reply from " The Man". I realized my issue almost as your reply came in, but thanks so much for the confirmation. I have always appreciated your insights into the cameras and such, this only further confirms my respect for you and what you have taught us all.
