Im not sure if it's a downloading error or it's simply my computer but a few files i got a quicktime question mark when trying to play it.....some play out fine initially but freezes and gave me static noises. Most are fine.

oops, I think I did a false alarm. The videos which froze/gave static audio are now fine after re-downloading.

I noticed that the download mirrors are random and that if a file from a mirror gave you problems, wait awhile and download it again and hopefully a different mirror comes up. That should do it....well at least for me.

The mirrors are processed in a load balanced fashion. So even if you immediately re-download the odds are you will get a different mirror.

The quickest, easiest solution, in the event of a problem with a download, is to re-download immediately. But also, if you can note here which file gave a problem I can investigate in case one of the mirrors didn't get a complete copy.

Thanks

Thanks Larry.

At the moment, the only 2 videos that I cant seem to download completely (which results in freeze frames/static audio) are Should'a and Pulsating Eye-Ball. Everything else were fine after re-download.

When trying to view 'The Shortest Distance' I get this error message:

ERROR: File not found. USE force-download.php?file=filepath

From this URL:

http://www.vidled.net/dvxfest/launch.php?id=20480

Don't know if that helps or means anything... or if anyone else is getting this..?

I'd get that error message every so often. I'd just back out to the list of films and click on the download link again and it would be fine.

That means it's probably missing from one of the mirrors. Just re-download and you should get it fine.

In the meantime I'll check the mirrors and find which one is missing the file and update it.

Thanks for the heads up.

Larry
