Today my documentary film on the July 7th London bombings is released online without a distributor. I am distributing it myself. Because of the politics of the subject matter, I have been left with little choice. However, self distribution is proving very tedious. Getting to this point of having it available was an absolute ordeal.

I will have a comprehensive analysis of the self distribution model in a few months when I have fully experienced the results of my planning and strategies. For now, if any of you have ideas, feel free to share them.

So I do not duplicate threads, here is the link to the thread on the film:

I'll save this thread for discussion of self distribution ideas for something like this. I am selling it from London, UK, and it is available from the website online only: WWW.THEHOMEFRONTMOVIE.NET

So far I have used just about every online networking site as well.

Are you sure that's the right link ? It looks like a home improvement website.

The one in the other dvxuser topic on here seems to be ok though.

First of all, BEST of luck, and much success with self-distributing your film, which looks very worthy, by the way.

It will be very interesting to read your analysis in a few months, on your experiences of this endeavour.

Again, wishing much success.
