whenever I downconvert my final movie from 720pn downconverted to 16:9 SD(widescreen) for DVD and distrubution... I'm having a real problem with strong moiré patterns appearing in my footage.. I've tried different compressions.. dv ntsc, 10 bit uncompressed, h264.. all still show really bad moiré patterning with nausating detail.
I don't have this problem whenever I downcovert into a letterboxed, 4:3 frame size. It is clean and I don't see it at all in this frame size.
I want to be able to present my videos in true 16:9 without annoying moiré. What's the solution?
