Looks good. Doesn't really feel like a commercial, though. Or look like one. There's a lot of hard shadows that seem to be more than 50 percentile range which brings more of a "narrative film" look to the piece.
Of course, that's a choice... just my thought upon third viewing.
Looks really good for narrative work, and had I not read 30p I might not have noticed that it wasn't 24p. Pretty good footage mang.
Just my pence!

Yea I agree with you on that Kholi, that was an aesthetic choice made by the director. I like the look though, its different. Thanks

Oh, totally. Again, it was an aesthetic choice and that's fine. It looks pretty darn good overall. Always impressed with your work, mang.
How do you like the Brevis over your M2 Experiences so far?
What were you pulling focus with for dolly shots?

The dolly shots were a bitch. It was me, on top of the dolly, focusing with an upside down image because our monitor wasn't working. Follow focus was done with hand on barrel of lens. Ghetto. Took about 10 tries. So far my Brevis experience has been fine. It does what it does. The construction and reliability of the M2 is far better. I had to send my Brevis back to Cinevate once for a busted motor. Also, it rattles a lot at times, something to do with how the screws are fastened - mounting it with the power knob facing the ground has proved better, quieter results.
Overall I'd still take the Brevis over the M2, but I won't be sad when I sell my entire rig off when the Red comes in this Thanksgiving (fingers crossed)
thanks again

Also, to be honest, the 35 adapters do their job but they shouldn't be used all the time. Unless it is a paying gig that requires it, I prefer the standard Leica HVX lens over everything. Shooting glass through glass into glass is ridiculous.

I thought it was great. I really love the idea of creating a beat some random sounds. We used to do that back in my DJing days. Great job on that.

You've been watching those spots on Cinemax, haven't you? :)

Richard, your footage reflects a lot of time shooting with the adapter. It looks crisp, clean, and focussed :-)
The units have changed quite a bit (although that rattle you're seeing is a 10 second fix) so pm if you'd like an update or two :-) Also, our flip unit won't size down your rig at all...but you won't have to shoot upside down anymore either.

The spot looks great! It looks like a national spot. I'm not crazy about the graphics at the end. They look a little cheap (unlike the rest of the spot).
