Very cool.

The real question is: what happens once you are moving? Changing speed & direction?

Truly amazing! This WILL catch on. Mark my words - there'll be a DIY frenzy very soon! How do you actualy make the camera move though - a third hand is needed I guess, or else mount the frame to the camera op's body with a body jib.

Looks like a lot of work....

I'm busy building a gyro to stabalize and possibly control a remote head on a jib/cablecam/whatever at the moment, it's the way forward!!!

My father (he's a dop) went to check out some of these guys systems. They have developed their own 4ccd hd camera (4th ccd for thermal or IR cant remember which) and this helicopter mount. they had footage shot from a chopper flying at night of the moon zoomed in tight enough so that you couldnt see the edges of the moon and he could hardly notice any shake.
Amazing what rocket scientists can do with a bottomless budget. Let the DIY revolution begin!

I have just started looking into RC Aerial Photography and came across this site. using Gyros designed for RC Helis and this device you could make the above stabalizer.

Also MK-V are selling somthing simalar MK-V AR (Auto-leveling Revolution) System...

Hope it helps
