Any chance that canon watches these threads enough to see the interest we have and make a pro version of the HV-20. All it needs is true manual exposure, a Hotshoe XLR,
the same 24 recording as the A1 so footage could be edited together, and a focus ring on the lens. Maybe not twice the price like sony does for their pro versions of consumer cameras. Or for a premium price include the wide angle adapter in the bundle, because most point and shoot consumers aren't going to pay the price for that lens anyway and we wouldn't have to try to track one down in stores that don't stock it.
