View Full Version : problems importing firestore clip to final cut
the problem is that no clips come up in the p2 window on final cut. i have setup final cut properly to the same settings as the clips. what am i doing wrong?

Did you use "ORGANIZE P2" on the FS-100 and are you pointing FCP to the folder containing a CONTENTS folder (which hasn't been renamed)?

What settings in the firestore with what firmware?
And as THoff indicates, did you use the Organize P2 if you shot p2?
yeah. i didn't organize P2. everything worked fine until my computer started freezing. now the firestore is locked in the welcome message. i push the on button and it reboots to this page. "off" does nothing. i have removed power a few times and it comes back to this page. suggestions.

i think the damn thing over-heated. i put a fan on it and the main menu came back after many anxious moments. God bless the people at dte technology. i have now experienced the heights of anxiety and frustration. thanks dte. i'm hoping my data is still there after these shannagins.
