Does anyone know the break down or comparison between the Panasonic HVX200 versus the Sony HVR-Z1? Isn't it true that P2 card cost a lot more than a miniDV tape?

This is not meant to down you at all, but you have really been asking some very basic and/or very broad questions lately...
I would suggest that you delve deeper into the archives of this forum and do google searches. Find out more information about the things you have been asking. Then feel free to hit the forum up with more specific questions if you don't find what you are looking for.
Yes... P2 costs a lot more than MiniDV tape. Check some of the vendors that sponsor this site, if you want to learn about cost... But, I would recommend looking into the differences of the two workflows and technologies, as they are significant.
