Okay so I was researching a bit more, and Im not a camera expert but I ran across the HV20.. which is best? I have heard amazing things from both but it comes down to the best image. HV20 or GL2?

Hey I own both cameras and it reallly depends on what you are planning on shooting, the HV20 would be more superior in my book because of the HD and 24p capabilities but there are many other issues to take into account, your PC speed and the 3-2 pulldown the HV20 24p produces has to be removed which can be a tedious process unless you own Cineforms Neo HD which would be and extra amount of cash. But the GL2 gave me wonderfull results, the HV20 will do better price wise and you can still even controll your apperture manualy with the SD card. So I'd go with the HV20 if I was in your shoes but it's for you to decide. :) Good luck.

get the HV20 + Cineforms Neo HD (If planning on using the 24p function) and you're good to go man
