After talking this over with my friends, we not only decided to make a commercial but we also got a storyboard, a script outline and shot lists completed. Hopefully we can begin shooting before this Typhoon hits us this weekend.

Well the weather sucked this past weekend, apparently Okinawa hasn't been hit this hard by a typhoon in a few years. This whole island is made of concrete anyways so it wasn't that big a deal.

We start shooting this week! Woot!

Overcast is good if you're shooting video though. Just add some warming filters, and you don't have to worry about too much contrast in the subject.

Ive been in Okinawa a few times the last two years and whilst not a fan of the AFN presenters at least they have some good shows.

After like 4 script rewrites, a camera dying on me, and a typhoon to boot we are finally ready to shoot. Just in time too. I can't wait till I can show this to people.

@ncje - Kadena is so-so, but Okinawa is awesome. So much to do, so little time. AFN gives everyone a headache but the new group of broadcasters and their commercials are hilarious.
