i have been setting my v detail level, detail coring, chroma level/phase, and master ped to 0 (zero) and haven' t really strayed off this path

i have been shooting a variety of different setup from exterior to interior, to run and gun sports and even rehearsed lit scenes

i'm happy with the images so far but can anyone shed some light onto some different settings i could explore?

thanks in advance

terry

Turning up the detail coring is universally acclaimed as a noise reducer, + 4 seems to be most often quoted...

The master ped crushes the blacks...Don't crush them if you want to colour grade the footage, otherwise -2 to -3 is good for me....

Chroma level is saturation, or lack of...

Plug it into a monitor and look while you adjust the settings...

Hope this is helpful!

Barry's HVX DVD Vol. 1 goes over every setting very well. It helped me make my own RE1000 scene file!

The HVX Book has multiple samples and discussions re scene files.

(Barry...so do we get a cut?)

Ha, me first!
I'll let anyone have my RE1000 scene file but I warn you, i'm not expert at anything. (but i like it a lot)

You seem pretty eager to give this out. Why not just post it? Why do you need personal e-mail?

Oh ya, I didn't even think of that. Someone asked me for it and gave me their email I guess that's why.
Ya, let me post it.
