urgent help pls. Mini 35 25P (pal)Film cam or video cam

Hi, I'm shooting in a few hours with a mini 35 system I have never used, and a technician suggested shooting 25P in video cam mode in order to st the shutter at 1/50..
is this the best way to get film like results?

I hope someone else chimes in here but I'm pretty sure film uses a 180 degree shutter which is a shutter of 48 in 24p or 50 in 25p.

i was told that these two setting are actually the same...?? is that right?

The camera uses different terminology in VIDEO CAM and FILM CAM mode, but the end result is the same -- 1/50th is the same as 180d.
