anyways i just wanted to see what you guys think about my first AE project.

I ripped off a tutorial from graymachine.com and then added my own stuff.

its for my church, they were pretty blown away, haha.

hey kev!

i made it so it loops, and then they just play a CD over it. It plays on the screens as people are walking into the service....so just to answer your question, no sound effects needed:cheesy:

Good execution of gray machine's tutorial. To stretch yourself for the next project come up with a concept on paper. A rough sketch is enough to get started. Jump into Photoshop and start designing the elements. And then take the elements to AE for animation. I've found that stepping outside of the tutorials accelerated my understanding of After Effects. When you're forced to solve problems and execute your own idea you learn a lot quickly. Of course the biggest benefit is that the finished work is in fact original.
