Getting mirror image in monitor

I'm trying to use an external JVC monitor with FCP4. It configured G4 >frirewire> DVX100 > s-video > JVC monitor. BUT I'm not getting audio or video mirror in monitor or on camera LCD. Am i missing something in camera or fcp preference to get the mirror image in monitor when playing/editing in fcp???

I tested the connections and they work fine when I ran a "capture now" and computer, camera, and monitor are in sinc.

Don't know if you fixed it yet, but...
Check under Audio/Video Settings in the Final Cut Pro drop down menu. Under the summary tab at the bottom make sure that it is set to Apple Firewire. Also check under the A/V Devices tab and make sure it is set to the same.

The big thing to check that I know about is

View->External Video->All Frames.

This is what tells FCP to output the video stream over firewire for a monitor.
