Hi,
i made a shot of moving sky during 3 minutes and i would like to make it fast. I tried to by increasing velocity in Vegas but it was too slow. How can i make it faster in AE?
Thanks

Speed it up?
Maybe you can learn something here: http://www.dvformat.com/2002/07_jul/tutorials/timelapse.htm
They use Digital Still Cameras to achive the Time Lapse effect.
He did a 5-hour time-lapse, and to fit in the 10 second time, the frame rate was set to "1 frame per minute".

Vegas only allows you to increase the speed so much before you have to render and do it again.
And remember, you can Ctrl + Click to shorten the clip, and you can apply a velocity envelope to it at the same time.

You can simply apply a Time Stretch, which I believe is under the "Layers" menu. But time stretching when you do not do direct intervals (2x, 4x, 6x) or your original can cause odd effects. Using the Frame Blending option may help.

Soooooo unnecessary.
I have been able to mix any media on my time line without rendering for years... :dankk2:
