Hi.

Dumb Question...... sorry.......

I make masks all the time and as I animate them I always wish I could turn the little square things into the little square things with the Bezier Handles after I already made them into the regular kind. Is there ta way to change them? Someone please tell me. I wanna punch my screen!!!!

Thanks and sorry for the outburst.

select mask point and right click, and a context menu will pop up, there should be check options for bezier, smooth, corner etc etc

I don't get that menu. I only get the MASK/QUALITY/SWITCHES menu....

Do I need to set a preference somewhere?

instead of just clicking to put in a mask point, click and drag. That will create a smooth point rather than a corner point.

If you have corner points where you dont want them, use the convert point tool (looks like a V upside down) in the pen options (hold down the pen tool when you click on it and all the pen versions/options will appear) and the use the convert tool directly on a point. just click and drag with it and your corner point will become a smooth point.

You can also use the convert tool to change smooth point to corner points, which can be handy as well.

on a mac you can just Cmd-Click I'm pretty sure... changes from a bezier to a linear with the pen tool selected?
