.will I lose quality

Okay...I shot a short with the dvx-100 In the advanced mode.When I captured my footage I captured it as normal footage.Then I did the pulldown in cinematools and edited it in a 24 fps.My question.....Is it better to do the pulldown while you capture your footage into fcp 4.

that shouldn't cause you to lose any quality because both processes do the exact same thing (removing the c frame from the 24padv footage)
