Shot a short film using two different 100s... one was a 25p PAL and the other was a 24p NTSC. The majority of the footage was shot with the 25p PAL, with the second camera work done on the 24p NTSC.

We've edited together the 25p stuff in a FCP4 PAL project. Now we are ready to cut in the second camera stuff. The goal is to have a final 24p project, suitable for showing at film festivals etc.

Questions: Do I import the 24p footage into the existing 25 PAL project, edit it together and output everything to 24p NTSC? Or is it better to create a new 24p NTSC project, import both the existing 25p PAL project and the 24p footage and edit it all together from there? Either way, what do I do about the 4% frame-rate/audio difference between the PAL and the NTSC footage? How do I compensate one way or the other whichever way I go?

Yes, I realize this would have been so much easier with two NTSC cameras, but a purchasing goof -- since fixed -- created this dilemma.
