miniatures and miniDV

i am new for this world of miniatures and filming it. :cheesy: i just wanna ask if it possible to shoot miniatures with a miniDV cam. i see some lenses on the internet called "miniature lens" is it related to the subject? if it possible, which is the right steps to do it?
