Sound is out of Sync

We shot in 24pa. I have captured my footage with final cut pro and it looks fine. But after I try to reverse telecine with cinematools, the sound gets out of sync. and its weird cause it seems to be closer to sync at the beginning of the clip and more out of sync at the end.

Is this a common problem? How do I fix this problem short of manually realigning the sound in FCP?

Hi, I work with Eric Hyland who posted this question in the 'technical' section earlier...we haven't heard anything so we thought it might be more of a FCP question.

Regarding this problem...we have done this process successfully just last week. Also, we are using FCP 4.

Did we accidentilly change a setting we're not familiar with?
