Help!

I have run into a little problem which im sure is an easy fix but i cant figure it out. It started because i was messing around with After Effects settings (becuase im on a mac pro and want more performance) and i change my video display options. I decided to see what happend when i went to the hdv setting and then when i went into after effects the screen was just black. If i click out of after effects ie go into another program, i can see the interface of AE pop up but right when i click back into AE the screen goes black again. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but that didnt seem to work. Is there any kind of setting i need to delete that may have been left behind by my previous install?? Thanks for any help!

Try completely disabling OpenGL within the After Effects settings. It's pretty much useless unless you have a Quadro or equivalent graphics card, anyway.

If that doesn't help you might need to delete your AE user preferences from your computer, which can become corrupted.
