Ok this is probably a dumb question, but I'm going to ask anyway as I've never gotten a definitive answer on this. Can I take clips in my Premiere Pro 2.0 timeline and put them into After Effects to do color correction on them and then see the changes in my Premiere timeline, or do I have to cut the whole film together and then bring it into After Effects to color correct? I am the type of editor who captures the whole tape and then chops the scenes up accordingly instead of selecting scenes when i capture and making every shot/scene it's own file. As it is now I tried to put a couple clips into After Effects to try and do some color correction, but it puts my entire tape into after effects when I only want the clip that I have edited on my timeline in there. Is there a way to only put edited pieces into After Effects using Dynamic Link or something like that, or can I only bring in whole video files? Thanks in advance. I'm am lost in After Effects at this point, but I'm trying to learn. I can fly in Premiere as I've used it for years, but compositing is kinda new to me, so thanks for helping a novice out!
