capturing issue on dvx

so today, i went to capture some footage through a capture cam that i shot on a dvx, the footage in the capture cam is very warm and my scene files set nicely and it looks good, but when i capture the footage, its just a very dull looking color

any help on this would be greatly appreciated, thank you

The computer screen is not the same as the LCD or a TV. Footage looks darker and duller on a computer screen.

This is one of the reasons you need to do your color correction with an external monitor or at least a TV.
