I am the DP on a short this week shot by director/writer Ben Chace (www.benchace.com (http://www.benchace.com)) - here is some quick clips from the film - I tried to minimize compression so its a 100 MB file and the gamma is changed a bit by the quicktime format.

I will post some green screen shots shortly.

Thanks for posting this! The footage looked good, except was the first shot (in the kitchen) a little bit out of focus?
Thanks again!

these were completely raw footage - i plan on testing later this week on pushing the footage far - my initial tests show that underexposed images have a lot that you can bring back without too much macroblocks

That was all Vegas' built in plugins
Used the color curves...crushed the blacks then intensified the highlights a bit. Then just down the red channel and boosted the blue and kinda curved the green around..then went to the Color Corrector option and put the gamma down a bit.
I tried Magic Bullet first to see what look I wanted to get..then just recreated it with Vegas' stuff because MB takes FOREVERRR to render.

yea i was impressed by howmuch you can recover form underexposure with DVCproHD. its even better in 1080. in shooting some interiors with the 200, the ire was peakign in highlights at 30 Ire, but somehow if you keep pushing it up Detail keeps emerging from the darks. MArcoblocking starts after a while, but nothing too horrible.
