I am using AE 7 and I don't know how to preview with sound. When I work with footage, it's always silent, I don't seem to have an audio track. How would I lay an audio track underneath so I can time my video to it.
Any help would be appreciated!

you have to make sure that your have an audio track in your comp. you bring it in just like video. then on the right where you press play and ram preview i am pretty sure there is a check box for audio.

Or just use the . key on your numerical keyboard (bottom right on a mac not sure about pc) to ram preview just the audio track MUCH quicker and you can work out roughly from that were your edit points will be. Useful when you have (as I often do) about 50,000 layers of video and graphics to work with.:bath:
