We are looking into the HPX for an upcoming feature. We have a couple of HVXs to use, but the increased chipsize/latitude/control over DOF makes the HPX very appealing, especially since our DP (khendrix2), won't be getting his RED anytime soon. The real issue will be how much is in our budget.
I looked at the Panny site for their packages. Of the ones shown, I like the idea of the Canon KJ16ex7.7B IRSD PS12 16X w/2X CAC lens or the Fujinon XA17x7.6BERM-M58B 17X w/2X CAC lens. Any thoughts on either of these for narrative work? The price difference is negligible.
Or would there be a better choice lens in that (or close to that) price range?
