If it could be any useful, I started posting clips shot with the AG-HPX555.

You can take them as me, a HVX200 user upgraded the camere to AG-HPX555.

So, my view points will be rather than a professional who has experiences with its camera's class, but getting used to larger camera. Luckily, AG-HVX200 was designed so that something like AG-HPX555 was coming down the line, the parameters are the same and that allowed me prepared to conduct such transition.

So, here it is. (http://web.mac.com/kakuito/iWeb/KakugyoBlog/VideoBlog/VideoBlog.html)

Each clips has H.264 300P preview clip with its original frame rate, so you can quickly audition them, then download the QuickTime DVCPRO HD file if you like any.

Kaku what lense did you use with the HPX? Ive used it with a Fujinon CAC lense twice now and the result have been pretty good. Also one of the cheapest out there right now.

Ive had camera supplied once and rented once so far - incidently my rental was around 40 man en for the day (thats about $320USD) - when you consider what you can make shooting with this baby its a rental steal.

Noel, the clips were shot with Canon x11 HDxs lens.
Come in some time so you can see this lens and tell me your opinion comparing them.

How come when I shoot with my DVX at nights I get a redish look? Is it like an HD thing to get the normal look, or is it the HPX that gets the normal look?

By the way, your footage looked great.

Thanks, more to come after I get over the end of the month mess.

I don't know about DVX. I would say the later models have better low light sensitivites, though.

Acutally the night shots are tough one shooting in Japan with all of the diffrent kinds of lights and in Tokyo, the power cycle is 50Hz. All of the huge panels on the building creats very bluish atmosphere, too.
