Ok, I think the last time I was here in the DIY section I suggested using a metal arm cast support for camera support...so don't laugh when I suggest this.
Did anyone here ever managed to successfully turn a baby car into a dolly? The other day I was coming from a shooting some stuff and I was thinking to my self how cool it would have been to have had a dolly on this shot...when then all of the sudden this lady passed by transporting a bunch of crap inside this really rugged baby car. I'm far from being a DIY guy, but it didn't look to hard for me to turn that thing into a dolly. I was wondering if anyone ever tried this.

I don't see why not, many people inluding myself have a wheel chair on hand for some dolly shots that dont need to be tracked and perfect. they are very effective, also used often are shopping carts, so a baby carrage would be more compact and easyer to transport than the other two options.

give it a shot, see what you hit.

Hey speaking of shopping carts...Ya know those electric ones they have at some stores..........

you mean the power scooters for the elderly and handicap people? yea they are pretty cool, might make a good dolly, but an electric wheel chair would probably be better.

Yeah but the ones at the grocery store have a basket in the front for carrying the beer in.

basicly anything with wheels that is self balanced, and rides smooth, can be used as a dolly, just find a way to mount or set your camera on it, and you're good.

some work better that others, it depends on the construction.

Actually, the one I've seen used which is close to your idea is like the little "Radio Flyer" red wagon toy that kids have had forever. Just get a good sized one and get in it with your camera and have someone else pull you. You'll be cramped a bit but it works and its not so expensive. Something like this is about 17 x 36:

But I've seen people using larger ones from competing manufacturers so I know they exist. Like this one on ebay which is a bit larger:

And this one which almost looks like a camera dolly:
