just got my hpx - will be updating here on my testing

the best thing is loading 4 16 gb cards and seeing that you have 170 minutes of record time at 720 24p - wowwwweeeee

I dont have too much time to post as I am prepping for a project. But my initial reactions are that this camera is absolutely amazing. Professional in every sense of the word.

I have been running tests tonite with a vectorscope and the camera is dead on with all colors but cyan and green - but i think that is due to the gammas used in the camera.

once i am finished with the project I will run the camera through the ringer and post vectorscopes, rez charts and an overall review.

Which dealer did you get it from?

I know some dealers are getting the supposedly "package" HPXs with no cards.

I hate YOU! No, kidding. I dont need to change over til the end of year so Ill make my final camera choice then - Im 50/50 atm. I did get to have another run yesterday - but cards cam all taken away for editing so havent seen a thing from it. :violent5:

i purchased from abel cine and went from reservation to in hand in 5 days. they were great to work with on this package. At the end of the week i will post my thoughts about the camera. But it is truly amazing

I second that. Abel Cinetech has been stepping up to the plate every time I have a strange request. Their customer service is the best I've found, and I deal with many camera houses. They also have an in-house machine shop and can help with fabricating various camera parts.
