I'm having trouble with my audio levels. If I bring in a clip with an audio level that is too high, Final Cut Express turns the sound into some kind of electronic dolpin sounding alien.
I have to turn my audio levels on my dvx down so that I don't go into the reds. But sometimes I capture on my camera from a vcr or something. The sound is fine from the vcr, but when it comes into the camera, the level is too hot.
Is there anyway I can prevent this from happening on the camera to begin with? Or is there anyway I can filter it out on final cut express?
