Hello,
My name is Kyle Robertson. I'm new here to the forum, but I've been looking around and am really impressed by all the talent and experience you all have. My friend Justin Durban reccommended I come by and post some of my work. I'd be very interested in writing scores for your ads and would love the opportunity to work with you. If you'd like, you can hear some of my work here (http://www.kyle-robertson.com/music_ie.htm).
Thanks!
Kyle

If Justin recommends you I assume you specialize in atonal music in the nature of Schoenberg's work?

Isn't Schoenberg pitching for the Mets this year? As a hardcore fan of the game, I guess I could see the musical analogy, but that's kind of stretching it, don't you think?
BTW - Welcome to the fun, Kyle!

Thanks for the kind welcome everyone! I don't know if I'd make the stretch of comparing my work to Schoenberg's haha, but I'll you be the judge. Thanks again and I look forward to hopefully working with some of you.

Welcome aboard, Kyle. Very epic stuff  I dig your ambient & drama stuff as well. Which vocal library is that in 'Silence' btw? :)

Thanks Herman! I used the solo vocals from Symphonic Choirs in silence. I'm looking forward to checking out their newest Voices of Passion library. I checked out some of the work on your site. Great stuff! Thanks again for the compliments.

Another welcome. Nice melodies. The Bosendorpher has a nice sound. It contrasts the Steinway with its low harmonic content. Both have thier qualities.
How do you like the software for it? Do the dynamics respond as you'd expect?
I love the sound of acc: piano, strings and violin together, but good violin players with a quality violin are rare.
Do you have stock tracks available like the Royalty free stuff that would be available as an alternative to asking you to score something?
Sometimes time restraints and budget don't permit.

Thanks guys! In repsonse to your question Raptor, some of the tracks on my site have already been licensed exclusively and are unavailable, but let me know if you're interested in a particular one and I'll get back to you. I've also got some other songs at SoundClick (http://www.soundclick.com/krob43), mostly piano solos and earlier orchestral works of mine. Just click on the "music" link and then "hi-fi" on the song you want to listen to.
As far as the Eastwest Bosendorfer library, I think it's great for solo work and the dynamics are great. But I don't use it much for film scoring anymore, and many composers I've worked with feel the same. My primary piano library I'm using now is the Galaxy Steinway.
Thanks again for the kind welcome and the compliments on my music on my site. A friend of mine, Lionel Bansept, designed my website. You can check out his website at http://www.neilfactory.com.
