Is this worth it?

I came across this today while looking through Panny's site.

I am not familiar with camera matenience so I want to ask anyone if this seems worth it. My camera is working just fine and from what it sounds like, people can install the 16gig p2 upgrade with relative ease.

Then again 100$ to get anything done in the video/film world is relatively cheap.

Any comments?

It is easy:

1. Download the updater and instructions.

2. Format at least a 64 MB SD card in the cam.

3. Put it in a reader and copy the correct folder off the computer to it.

4. Use the AC adapter to power the cam

5. Insert the SD card.

6. Go to MCR mode menus.

7. Run the updater.

I'll do it for $10.00 less.

Ah no. Why would anyone wanna pay $100 plus shipping (and time lost with the camera) to update software? It's so easy to do yourself. (and WAY faster and cheaper!)

I'll do it for half what Panasonic wants to charge you, and I'll throw in a good P2 head rinse!
