Want me to write it for you?
(That's my new secret plan to eliminate the competition  )
Dear God no!
Actually you can (as long as the script is great and you give Brandon a dodgy one ) :Drogar-Love(DBG):

I think you're the first one to announce choice of camera. Wonder if we'll stick to HVX/DVX on this one.
Well since it's a commercial and doesn't (necessarily) need the film look, then it won't matter as much what cameras we shoot on.
I might still shoot 24p, what about you guys?
When are you buying a camera gabriel?

If everything goes according to plan, sometime next year. I need to get rid of student loans first. Going back to Europe to visit the family twice a year is also slowing me down. Alaska to Spain tickets are expensive.
You could maybe try and get an HV20 and start playing round.

Hmmm, HV20? I just read (on wiki) that it shoots 1080p24? Does that mean... 1080p, 24fps???? And it's less than a fifth of an HVX-200. This might be a good introductory camera....
And BTW, this is my 100th post! I'll be able to vote on AdFest!

Yeah, the HV20 is a great introductory camera... at around 1000 bucks too... :)
I don't really know anything about the HV20 but I have heard it gives great pictures. If I wanted something cheap I'd definately consider it.
Tommy, how you doing? Are you working on an adfest entry?

Hey man, doing pretty good... I've got so much going on right now I don't have any time to spend on adfest. I'm going to wait till the next fest to get something going. This one is due on Aug 1, which is the same date I'm planning on either not being at my job any more or giving my 2 week notice so that I can work on acting / filmmaking full time. :)
How's the guitar?
Haven't been playing much at all lately. I've just been bummin round for my last couple of sets of days off (when I should have finished my short In the Machine). Going to edit some next couple nights.
The other days I recorded some distortion from my amp thru the oktava mk012/hvx and it came out pretty good, so I'll have to fire up cubase and learn how to put down some drum tracks.

Nah, that's cool. Sometimes you need to take some time and just relax... I know I need a couple of weeks off...
Keep us up to date with In the Machine. I'd like to see how it turns out.
I'm out. I need to get back to my writing as I've done little lately.
Good luck all! See you at the next fest.
