View Full Version : CAPTURED FOOTAGE UNRENDERED?

I've been racking my brain on this one for the past week. I'm Batch capturing footage, but when everything is online (the red slashes are gone) the clips play in the viewer, but when inserted or overwritten into the sequence, ech clip is showing up UNRENDERED!!
WHY? WHY? WHY?

Check that the clip settings and sequence settings are the same. For example, if you digitize 24P DV, but edit it into a 29.97 DV sequence, then it will need to be "rendered" with a pulldown.
This will also happen if you insert 16x9 footage into a 4x3 sequence.

oh, oh, oh! I think that might be it. I captured my footage with the camera setting at 16X9, so I need to check that it is set for that in the sequence settings, yes?
The DVX-100 24p + A settings record at 23.98, and both the capture and sequence should be set to that yes?
I can't wait to go home, and try this out. it's been driving me nuts!

I have had this problem as well. I am going to try this as well. If that doesn't work, then I may try 23.98 Pull Down Removal preset in capture settings. Wish me luck!
